MIND MAP WORKS LOGO

Mind maps show the hierarchy of the elements in a subject.

MindMap.Works features mind maps for marketing strategies.

The first mind map available is an example of how to layout a mind map for marketing strategies for tourist attractions

Marketing for a tourist attractions was divided into four core elements

For each of these core elements we divided them in to several subparts

  1. 1 - elements
  2. 2 - goals and kpis
  3. 3 - tools
  4. 4 - players
  5. 5 - experts
  6. 6 - learn more

For the elements we lay out what essential elements of that strategy are for instance: for newsletters the 4 elements would be the sender details, the lead capture, the email messages and the list.

Within each element we give tactical tips. For instance: for lead capture we would suggest " keep sign up form short".

For the goals we list the main generic goals for instance: for a newsletter, the main goal is 2 make them remember you. This means turning your list members into customers by helping them, by inspiring them, by entertaining them or by sending a special promotion or new product.

Some strategies have more than one goal: for instance you may want to get someone to buy but if they don't you'll be happy if they signed up for your list or followed you on Instagram or subscribed to your video.

For the kpis we list 1 to 4 metrics. More than that is just too much for one to control.

For the tools we list the more popular ones and of course the ones we recommend, all with links.

For the players we list also the main ones as examples. Most ecosystems have too many players to be listed on a mind map but with a few examples one can find the rest of them.

For the experts we divided into two: the writers and speakers which are the main thought leaders on one side. While on the other we have the affordable and accessible experts and Consultants which are those that can be found on sites like upwork and fiverr.

And lastly but not leastly we have a “Learn More” section which branches out into three some branches: the first one is books, ebooks audio and video courses. The second are blogs, magazines and sites on the subject. And the third branch would be well written articles and YouTube videos.

Using this structure each strategy follows the standard recipe formats where first you explain what and why followed by the ingredients followed by the methods followed by what you can expect followed by who can help you do it or you can learn more about.

The MindMeister mind mapping tool has several features that make the Mind map very Interactive and useful to the user: the first are links to other sites that you can play some any branch, second are the long notes that you can add inside a branch without deforming your mind map, and third are images and videos.
